Revere Bank Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Supports Interfaith Works

Rockville, MDâ€”Revere Bank held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, September 15 to celebrate the opening of its new Rockville office. Â Bank directors, investors and staff welcomed more than 100 guests to the early evening reception held at the Bankâ€™s Rockville office at 414 Hungerford Drive in the City of Rockville.
A number of appointed officials and business leaders were in attendance. Steve Silverman, Director, Montgomery County Department of Economic Development provided opening remarks. Ann Humphrey, a representative from the office of Congressman Chris van Hollen presented the bank with a Congressional Citation plaque. Andrea Jolly, Executive Director, Rockville Chamber of Commerce was present to represent the business community in Rockville.
Becky Wagner, Executive Director, Interfaith Works (www.InterfaithWorks.com), was presented with a ribbon decorated with $50 bills. All money was donated by Revere Bank to Interfaith Works, a non-sectarian interfaith coalition working to meet the needs of the poor in Montgomery County, Maryland. â€śWe are pleased to support an organization whose mission is to identify and meet the needs of individuals and families who are struggling economically in Montgomery County,â€ť said Andrew Flott, President and CEO, Revere Bank.
